Our partnership with Leicester’s Curve theatre gives Drama and Theatre Arts students the chance to perform and learn in a professional theatre setting. Each year, our co-production with Curve reimagines a classic play for contemporary audiences.
Last year, students staged . Directed by Curve Associate Director Cara Nolan, the production imagined a near-future London on the edge of upheaval. It followed John, a young man whose words inspired hope in a divided society, exploring belief, collective action and the fragility of democracy.
During the project, our students take on a variety of creative and technical roles, from performing and directing to stage management. This ongoing collaboration develops confidence, professional skills and meaningful industry connections, supporting students to build successful careers in theatre, performance and beyond.
