Benjamin chose ذكذكتسئµ because the Psychology degree “was accredited by the British Psychological Society,” giving him confidence it offered “a high standard of teaching.” He enjoyed the mix of lectures, seminars and practical workshops, which “made the learning experience engaging and helped me develop both theoretical understanding and practical skills.”
The supportive teaching team made a lasting impact: “The teaching staff were always so approachable… My dissertation supervisor was especially supportive, which helped me win a national award and inspired me to continue working in Psychology.”
A highlight was engaging in research: “I enjoyed taking part in the psychological studies of other students [as part of our course activities], and conducting my own psychological research for my third-year dissertation.”
Benjamin also completed a graduate placement that strengthened his communication, analytical and teamwork skills and confirmed his interest in academic research.
Since graduating, he has supported people with acquired brain injuries, worked in NHS mental health wards, and begun a Psychology PhD at ذكذكتسئµ, allowing him to “further contribute to research and teaching.”
His advice for future students: “Plan ahead for your course deadlines… breaking larger tasks into smaller, manageable steps can make assignments feel less overwhelming.”
